***UPDATE*** Additional Suspects Arrested in Homicide Investigation

Henderson, Nev. – (February 7th, 2024) Henderson Detectives identified two additional suspects as 51-year-old Jerel Reyes and 50-year-old Bryanna Reyes.  

On February 7th, 2024, Jerel and Bryanna Reyes were taken into custody and booked into the Henderson Detention Center, each for one (1) count of Child Abuse/Neglect.

Henderson Police Investigate Shooting Incident

Henderson, Nev. – (January 26, 2024) On January 25th, 2024, at approximately 7:15 p.m., the City of Henderson Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Capital Gains Drive in reference to a shooting incident that had just occurred. 

While enroute, officers were advised that the 14-year-old victim was transported by family to a local area hospital where the victim was later pronounced deceased. 

Preliminarily, Detectives determined the victim’s 12-year-old brother shot the victim.

The 12-year-old was taken into custody and booked into Clark County Juvenile Hall (CCJH) on the following charge:

One count of Open Murder. 

The booking photo and identity of the suspect is unavailable as the offender is a juvenile.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications.

This is being investigated as the first homicide for the City of Henderson for 2024.
