Tiered Starting Pay Incentive for Education and Experience

  • Step 1 - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Step 2 - Associate Degree or 60 completed credit hours from an accredited university or college OR four years military service (honorable) OR four years full-time, sworn Law Enforcement experience
  • Step 3 - Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university or college

Tiered Starting Pay - Police

Pay steps are a 5% increase each starting from step 1 to step 13.  COLA for 2023-2024 is between 2.25% and 3%.

Incentive Information - Police Lateral Recruitment Only

  • Relocation Bonus - up to $3,000

Incentives can be stacked for up to a $5,500 bonus.
