The City of Henderson has partnered directly with the following agencies to help our residents in need of rental or utility assistance. Contact the agencies below to see if you qualify.
HopeLink of Southern Nevada offers free services to assist families and individuals with food, shelter, housing and emergency provisions during times of crisis. Henderson residents may also be eligible for rent, mortgage, deposits, and utility assistance. Call 702-566-0576 or visit http://link2hope.org/.
Clark County has new eligibility requirements to provide assistance to those facing eviction due to non-payment of rent. Only applications for households that meet these new eligibility requirements will be accepted. These include:
• At least one member of a household is living on a fixed income e.g., Social Security, VA benefits, or pension
• Have experienced a rent increase within the 12-month period prior to the date of application
• Received an eviction notice for non-payment of rent
• Have filed an Answer to the eviction notice in Justic Court
