Licensing Services

Business Licensing provides services to the general public, business license applicants and each existing licensee. Our objective is to assist applicants in obtaining the proper business license(s) and to ensure compliance of all businesses with the City's business license ordinances.

Specifically, the business license staff answer inquiries for and about existing licensees, assist applicants in the completion of their application and follow-up on the approval and issuance of license certificates. Written business complaints are also received and evaluated by our Enforcement team.

Online Appointments

The City of Henderson now offers online business license appointments, giving customers the flexibility to schedule appointments when it's convenient. Customers will receive reminder texts and have the ability to cancel, reschedule and notify staff when running late.
