A section dedicated in November 2006 recognizes Henderson residents who lived in the City from 1980 to present and who give the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country while serving in any branch of military service. The individuals, who are "Killed in Action" or die from enemy action including terrorism and receive a Purple Heart, are part of Henderson's heritage and honored by the Memorial Wall.
