Henderson Annual 5k Runs

Let's get active in 2024! The City of Henderson offers three annual 5k Runs and 1 Mile Walks. The Earth Day Recycled 5k Run & Trail Clean Up will be held this April to celebrate Earth Day. Register to participate in the 5k and help clean up our community after. The Zombie Run 5k and 1 Mile Walk will take place this October. Come dressed as the living dead, you don't want to miss this night run! Lastly, Reindeer Dash 5k and 1 Mile Run is held in December. Sign up for a jolly good time, Santa's nice list only.

Earth Day Recycled 5K Run & Trail Clean Up

Celebrate Earth Day with us on the Union Pacific Railroad Trail! Get your steps in and help clean up our community with this special 5K event in Henderson. Unused bibs, souvenir t-shirts, and medals will be recycled from previous runs. The 5K & 1 mile walk starts promptly at 9am, stick around after to cleanup Cornerstone Park and the trail from 10am-noon. All fitness levels are welcome. 

11th Annual Zombie Run 5K and 1-Mile Walk

Get ready to run for your life because the walking dead return to Henderson for their second feeding! All ghouls and ghosts are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween clothing or as a member of the undead. Souvenir medals and dry fit t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants. This is a chip timed event. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!

Reindeer Dash 5K & 1 Mile Walk

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen...

Make a dash from Cornerstone Park to the Pittman Wash Trail this winter for a jolly good time! All little helpers are encouraged to don their most cheerful costumes or ugly holiday sweaters. Souvenir meals and dry fit t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
