Year-Round Programs

Battle Born (Ages 5-14)

Battle Born Kids (ages 5-12) and Battle Born Teens (ages 10-14) are recreation programs that support distance learning. The programs incorporate daily activities that may include games, crafts, sports, and movies. The programs are held weekdays 7:00am-6:00pm. See Henderson Happenings for dates and locations.

Safekey (Through Grade 5)

Safekey is a before- and after-school recreational enrichment program offered at all Henderson elementary schools. This fun-filled program focuses on crafts, games, cooking and special activities as an alternative while parents work.

Teen Scene

This after-school program is for children in grades 6-8. Teen Scene provides a USDA snack and features arts and crafts, cooking, sports, field trips, and social events.

Preschool

ABC ETC.

ABC ETC. is a state-licensed preschool specially designed for children 3-5 years of age and held at Valley View Recreation Center.

Little Learners

Little Learners is a state-licensed, full-day preschool specially designed for children 4-5 years of age and held at Valley View Recreation Center.

Campfire Kids

Campfire Kids is a state-licensed camp specially designed for children ages 3-5 years and held at Valley View Recreation Center.

Program is held 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday and is available during spring, summer and winter break.
