Community outreach plays a major role in the Henderson Fire Department, encompassing fire and life safety, injury prevention and risk reduction, health and wellness, and career education. Our vision “to be a community fire department our citizens know and trust” is reinforced through our daily interactions with school children, residents and business groups, allowing them to see us as far more than emergency responders. Our outreach efforts are enhanced through collaborations with the Henderson Professional Fire Fighters Local 1883 and various local, state and federal agency partners.
