Summer Basketball 2024

The City of Henderson's youth basketball league introduces young athletes to the third largest sport in the world (over 2 billion fans worldwide). The program helps to develop a wide array of skills, including but not limited to, passing, dribbling, positional play, and teamwork. The level of skill increases progressively by division, but new players are always welcome to register.

Program capacity is limited, please register early to secure your child's spot.
Practice days, times and locations are at the coach's discretion.
U10 and U12 player requests will not be honored. In these age divisions teams are formed exclusively through the player rating system. If a rate-up is desired, the child must attend player ratings. Rating up does not guarantee placement in the league. Placement is based on the child’s skill level and roster availability.
Youth Sports league timelines are subject to change based on registration, demand and volunteer coach recruitment.
Late registration is not guaranteed. If your child is enrolled from the interest list, the late registration fee will apply.

Player Ratings

The following player ratings are scheduled for Black Mountain Recreation Center (BMRC), 599 Greenway Rd. and the Henderson Multigenerational Center (HMGC), 250 S. Green Valley Pkwy. No ratings are held for the U6 and U8 age divisions. A player draft will be held for the U19 division only. Date, time, and location will be announced by the league after Player Ratings.

Age Divisions

The effective date of age determination is the player's age as of August 8, 2023. Players who are at least 5 years old as of this date are eligible to participate.
