The Henderson City Council adopted an Open Data Policy on August 6, 2019 to demonstrate their commitment to open, transparent and accessible government, and to signal their recognition that improving access to City data can stimulate opportunities for economic development and increase civic participation for citizens.

The Office of Performance and Innovation routinely works with departments and City leaders to publish relevant data on this central platform, following the guidelines set out in the policy. The portal provides users with access to interesting and informative data that the City uses to make decisions. Citizens can easily search, filter, and utilize this data in innovative ways to learn about and engage with their local government. The City’s open data is available online at any time and can be downloaded in several formats.
