The purpose of this website is to provide information to the public concerning the location of convicted sex offenders within the City of Henderson. This site is not intended to replace the community notification process, but rather, it allows the Henderson Police Department to promote public awareness concerning the potential threat that sex offenders pose. An informed community is a safer community.

The Henderson Police Department has created this site in accordance with the requirements of NRS 179B and NRS 179D. This site lists convicted sex offenders who have been released from prison and have been designated by the State Sex Offender Registry as Tier 3, Tier 2 or Tier 1.

Tier 3 Sex Offenders

A Tier 3 sex offender is assessed as posing a substantial risk of recidivism and threat to public safety. The general public is to be notified of Tier 3 sex offenders. The Henderson Police Department provides names, addresses, photographs and other identifying information on Tier 3 sex offenders in the registry and will appear as red dots on the mapping aspect of this site.

Realizing that it is impossible to notify every citizen about a sex offender's presence in one's community, this site will empower you to obtain information on Tier 3 sex offenders and take the appropriate precautions. Furnishing the public with information regarding convicted sex offenders is a critical step towards encouraging the public to protect themselves from potential future acts. The general public has access to information about Tier 3 sex offenders.

Tier 2 Sex Offenders

Recent changes in Nevada law allows for more information to be released to the general public about Tier 2 sex offenders. The updated information is available on the Tier 2 sex offender page. Tier 2 sex offenders will be designated in the mapping program as an orange dot.

Tier 1 Sex Offenders

Those sex offenders designated as Tier 1 will appear only as a blue dot, but no specific address or name is listed per state law.

Updated Information

The Henderson Police Department is responsible for maintaining the site with updated information. If you believe any of the information is inaccurate, please contact the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4750.
