2023 FALL SOCCER

City of Henderson youth soccer introduces young athletes to the world's biggest global sport (3.5 billion fans worldwide). The program helps to develop a wide array of skills, including but not limited to, passing, footwork and dribbling, positional play, and teamwork. The level of skill increases progressively by division, but new players are always welcome to register.

• Program capacity is limited; please register early to secure your child's spot. 
• U6 and U8 divisions do not keep scores or standings.
• Practices days, times and locations are at the volunteer coach’s discretion.
• U10 and U12 player requests will not be honored. In these age divisions teams are formed exclusively through the player rating system. If a rate-up is desired, the child must attend player ratings. Rating up does not guarantee placement in the league. Placement is based on the child’s skill level and roster availability.
• U6 and U8 player requests may not be granted during late registration.
• Youth Sports league timelines are subject to change based on registration, demand and volunteer coach recruitment.
• Late registration is not guaranteed. If your child is enrolled from the interest list, the late registration fee will apply.

Season Schedule

• Practices could begin the week of August 28 
• Season could begin week of September 18
• Season ends week of October 23 (weather permitting)

All youth sports timelines are subject to change based on registration demand and volunteer coach recruitment efforts. At the league's discretion, games are held on select weeknights and Saturdays. This is a city-wide program and game locations (i.e., Heritage Sports Complex or Aventura Park) will be decided based on the age division and field availability. Travel flexibility for practices and games should be considered before registering.

• Accepted at all recreation centers and the Sports Office.

• Players must be from the same immediate family to receive a multi-child discount. We reserve the right to request supporting documentation.

Player Ratings

• The following player ratings are scheduled for Heritage Sports Complex, 530 S. Racetrack Rd. and Aventura Park,2525 Via Firenze). Field numbers to be determined. No ratings are held for the U6 and U8 age divisions. 

Age Divisions

• The effective date of age determination is the player's age as of August 8, 2023. Players who are at least 5 years old as of this date are eligible to participate.
