Protecting the City’s Information Assets & Computing Environment and Mitigating Liability

Today’s information society connects people and provides access to business, information, and communication forms in unprecedented ways. Because we value what we can do with this technology, we also value protecting it. This is the role of the Compliance & Security team – to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality (AIC) of data, IT infrastructure, mobile computing, and other information assets. The mission of this team is to provide that focus and mitigate the liability risks and costs associated with security incidents, as well as to raise user awareness about security issues in preserving the City’s IT assets.
