HENDERSON, Nev. (Jan. 16, 2024) – Henderson, get ready to rock! The City of Henderson is now accepting applications for its fourth annual Battle of the Bands competition. Applications are open until Friday, March 1.

New this year, there will be two categories: one for bands whose members are all 20 and younger, and one for bands where at least one member is 21 or older.

Each band must submit an entry performance video, and the top five bands from each category will be selected to perform at the final battle at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater on Saturday, March 30.

To qualify, bands must consist of two or more performers local to the Henderson or Las Vegas areas.

The top three bands in the 21 or older category will be awarded the following cash prizes:

• First place: $1,500
• Second place: $500
• Third place: $250

The top three bands in the 20 and younger category will be awarded the following cash prizes:

• First place: $500
• Second place: $200
• Third place: $100

Winners will also be considered for future bookings at various Henderson events.
