Henderson, Nev. – (October 30, 2023) The Henderson police officers involved in the October 27, 2023, officer-involved shooting, occurring in the 2300 block of North Green Valley Parkway have been identified as Officer James Schulke and Officer Nicole Ciotti.

Officer Schulke has been employed with the City of Henderson Police Department since September 2005, and is currently assigned to the Field Operations Bureau.

Officer Ciotti has been employed with the City of Henderson Police Department since April 2013, and is currently assigned to the Field Operations Bureau.

Officer Schulke and Officer Ciotti have been placed on paid administrative leave, per department policy. 

This is the third officer-involved shooting for 2023.
