WHO: The highly popular Aki Matsuri Japanese Festival is back on Water Street Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 21!

Join us for the 14th annual Aki Matsuri Japanese Festival presented in partnership with the Japanese Festival Association of Nevada. Festivalgoers can expect an immersive festival experience with live entertainment, authentic Japanese food, a haiku contest, traditional Japanese dances and much more. 

The Aki Matsuri Festival was founded in 2010 by Robert Higashinaka who wanted to showcase the growing Japanese population in Southern Nevada.

The Japanese words “Aki Matsuri” stands for “fall festival" and has been celebrated in Southern Nevada each October. This beloved event attracts thousands of people annually and properly displays traditional Japanese culture for the Henderson community.
