Henderson Police Investigating Overnight Homicide

Henderson, Nev. – On March 13th, at approximately 12:40 a.m., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments were called to a residence in the 700 block of Descartes Avenue where the male caller identified himself as 77-year-old Robert Paige and stated he had killed his wife.

Officers at the scene were able to have Paige safely exit the residence, where he was taken into custody without incident.

Officers entered the residence to discover a 78-year-old female deceased at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. 

Paige is charged with one count of Open Murder.  He was transported to an area hospital for further medical evaluation; therefore, a booking photo is not available at this time.

The name of the decedent will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin. 

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

This is being investigated as the fifth homicide for the City of Henderson for 2021.
