Henderson, Nev. – (September 27, 2023) The Henderson Police Department concluded its 12th and final campaign under the current Joining Forces Program. 

During the enforcement initiative that ran from September 9th through September 21st, 2023, Henderson Police stopped a total of 523 motorists.

Of the 523 traffic stops, motorists were issued 349 speeding citations, 2 seat belt violations, and 61 citations for citations issued for other traffic related offenses. 

The Henderson Police Department received $231,300 in federal funding for the enhanced enforcement initiatives through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2023 Joining Forces program.
