Henderson, Nev. – (September 22nd, 2023) On September 21st, at approximately 4:00pm, the City of Henderson Police Department received information from a neighboring law enforcement agency concerning a social media post which referenced a possible shooting to occur at a local area school. 

Henderson Detectives contacted and interviewed the involved 17-year-old male.  It was determined a credible threat existed and no other individuals were involved.

The juvenile was placed into custody and booked into Clark County Juvenile Hall for the following charge:

1 count of Terroristic Threats 

As the suspect is a juvenile, no booking photo will be provided. 

As this is an active investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
