HENDERSON, Nev. (Aug. 30, 2023) – The Henderson Fire Department today announced three dates for community open houses this fall, where residents can tour the station, meet with firefighters, check out firefighting apparatus, watch safety demonstrations and learn how their local station is enhancing their community.

The Henderson Fire Department will open the three stations to the public this fall:

• Station 85 (285 W. Horizon Dr.): Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Station 91 (2901 Democracy Dr): Saturday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Station 84 (400 N. Valle Verde Dr.): Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Community outreach plays a major role in the Henderson Fire Department, encompassing fire and life safety, injury prevention and risk reduction, health and wellness, and career education.
