Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson Police Department is proud to be participating in the FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS).

As the new national data collection standard, as of January 1, 2021, NIBRS captures details on victims, known offenders, relationships between victims and offenders, arrestees, property, and drugs involved in crimes for up to 10 offenses within a single incident, representing a substantial shift in the way the Henderson Police Department reports crime.

This reporting not only meets federal data standards, improves operations, but also better informs the public about the nature of crime occurring within the City of Henderson.

With this change, the Henderson Police Department will be able to provide the community with in-depth information about victimization and offending.
