Henderson, Nev. – (March 30, 2023) The Henderson Police Department concluded its 6th campaign under the current Joining Forces Program. 

During the enforcement initiative that ran from March 13th through March 29th, 2023, Henderson Police stopped a total of 728 motorists.

Of the 728 traffic stops, motorists were issued 536 speeding citations, 8 citations for distracted driving (such as cell phone use), and several other citations issued for other traffic related offenses. 

The Henderson Police Department received $231,300.00 in grant monies for the enhanced enforcement through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2023 Joining Forces program.
