In an effort to find a home for every adoptable pet, the City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is hosting its annual Home for the Holidays pet adoption event beginning November 26 through December 31.

Throughout the month, adoption fees for all animals one year and older are half off. Adoption fees for animals during Home for the Holidays are as follows:

• Adult cats: $40
• Adult dogs: $45
• Rabbits: $17.50
• Guinea Pigs: $5

Anyone who would like to adopt a pet during the Home for the Holidays pet adoption event is welcome to visit the shelter Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter is located at 300 E. Galleria Dr. Those interested in adopting do not need to be a Henderson resident.

The Home for the Holidays limited-time adoption pricing will also be offered at PetSmart on 286 W. Lake Mead Pkwy. in Henderson.
