Henderson, Nev. – The Henderson Police Department concluded its 6th campaign under the current Joining Forces Program.
During the enforcement initiative that ran from January 24th through February 6th, 2022, Henderson Police stopped a total of 445 motorists.
Of the 445 traffic stops, motorists were issued 334 speeding citations, 5 citations for distracted driving (such as cell phone use), and several other citations issued for other traffic related offenses. Additionally, 69 motorists were issued a warning, in lieu of a citation.
Henderson Police Department received $237,300 in federal funding for the enhanced enforcement initiatives through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2022 Joining Forces program.
