Henderson Police Arrest Attempt Homicide Suspect

Henderson, Nev. – On December 19th, 2021, at approximately 4:49 A.M., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the 500 block of First Light Street in reference to a shooting incident.

Preliminary investigation determined that the victim, a 19-year-old male, exited his residence and found an unknown suspect rummaging the inside of his vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect where the suspect fled the area while firing rounds from his firearm striking the victim. 

The male victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.

At the time of the incident, there was no suspect information. 

Henderson Detectives, along with the assistance from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, later developed two persons of interest and a possible suspect vehicle, a silver Mitsubishi Outlander.

On December 23rd, the Criminal Apprehension Team Task Force (CATS), located and placed 26-year-old Jeremy Davis and 18-year-old Alecia Lopez in custody for multiple charges related to the incident. 

Davis was booked into the Henderson Detention Center for 1 count of Attempt Murder with a Deadly Weapon, 2 counts of Attempted Battery with a deadly weapon, 1 count of Possess Firearm by a Prohibited Person, 19 counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, 6 counts of Burglary of a Veh, 1st Offense, 13 counts of Attempted Burglary of a Vehicle, 1st Offense, and 1 count of Buy/Poss/Receive Stolen Property. Lopez was booked into the Henderson Detention Center for 19 counts of Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Her booking photo is attached. 

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
