Suspect Arrested in Missing Person Case Turned Homicide Investigation

Henderson, Nev. - Henderson Detectives identified 35-year-old Philip O’Reilly as the suspect.  

On September 2nd, 2021, an arrest warrant was approved for O’Reilly’s arrest for one count of Murder with a Deadly Weapon and two counts of Child Abuse/ Neglect/ or Endangerment. 

On September 2nd, 2021, O’Reilly was taken into custody and booked at the Clark County Detention Center for all the above charges.

This case has not been adjudicated; therefore, no further details will be released at this time.

Henderson Police Request Public’s Assistance in Ongoing Missing Person Investigation


Henderson, Nev. – On September 9, 2020, the City of Henderson Police Department was called to the 1100 block of Center Street in reference to a missing person, identified as 35-year-old Cherllyn Beardall.

Cherllyn was last seen by family in July of 2020 in Henderson.

Cherllyn’s vehicle was located late September of 2020; however, Cherllyn is still missing.

Foul play has not been ruled out at this time.

Henderson Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cherllyn.
