Henderson, Nev. – On April 9th, 2021, at approximately 7:20 A.M.., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the 1400 block of West Sunset Road in reference to a shooting incident.

It was reported a 37-year-old male was lying in the bed of a pickup truck suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The male was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition.

At the time of this incident, there was no suspect information, nor motive, into the incident.

Detectives ascertained the incident appeared to be involving a physical altercation between Garcia and the victim.

Garcia was booked into the Henderson Detention Center for 1 count of Attempt Murder with a Deadly Weapon and 1 count of Possess Firearm by a Prohibited Person.  His booking photo is attached.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
