Henderson, NV – A key tool for planning for spring fun is now available. The City of Henderson’s activity and information guide, Henderson Happenings, can be viewed online at cityofhenderson.com.
Registration – online, by mail and in person – for most activities begins at 6:00 a.m. on
March 16. A household account, which can be created online, must be established before signing up for most classes, workshops and events that require registration. New accounts can take up to three days before they can be accessed.
Henderson Happenings is the complete listing for events, sports, arts, outdoor recreation, concerts, lessons, memberships, rentals, and more for all ages, as well as a valuable source for information on City services.
This issue features how City of Henderson staff faced the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Spring recreation programming begins later this month and continues through May.
Events of note in the spring guide include:
• Egg Dive, April 3
• Earth Day Recycled Run 5K, April 17
• Henderson Trail Hunt, May 1-31
• Slide Into Summer, May 28
Face coverings and social distancing are required when attending a City of Henderson event, activity or program. The schedule may change based on State of Nevada restrictions.
