Henderson Police Arrest Suspect in Home Invasion

Henderson, Nev. – (April 15, 2024) On April 13th, 2024, the Henderson Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Robbers Roost Avenue in reference to a report of a home invasion.   

While enroute, officers received information that the suspect, later identified as 38-year-old Phillip Richardson, entered the residence, battered the person reporting and the spouse.

Officers arrived, entered the residence, and quickly located Richardson, who was still inside the residence, and placed him in custody.    

The two victims were transported to a local area hospital for injuries sustained in the attack.

Richardson was booked into the Henderson Detention Center for the following offenses:

1 count of Burglary

1 count of Home Invasion

1 count of Robbery w/ a Deadly Weapon (DW)

1 count of Battery w/ DW Resulting in Substantial Battery Harm

1 count of Battery w/ DW Resulting in Substantial Battery Harm (Elderly Enhancement)

2 counts of Trespass

This incident was an isolated incident and is not related to any other incident(s).

As this is an active investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
