WHAT: Keep our planet clean and celebrate Earth Day at the City of Henderson’s annual Earth Day 5K run and 1-mile walk, and trail clean-up on Saturday, April 20, at Cornerstone Park.

The Earth Day 5K and 1-mile walk will begin at the Union Pacific Railroad trail at 9 a.m. Participants are encouraged to stay after and take part in a trail clean-up.

Unused bibs, souvenir t-shirts, and medals will be recycled from previous 5Ks.

Participants can pre-register for the 5K and the 1-mile walk for $15 now until Friday, April 19. Same-day registration will be available for $20.
