WHAT: Join the City of Henderson on Saturday, April 20 for the Henderson Shines Community Cleanup and recycling effort at Whitney Ranch Recreation Center.

To help promote neighborhood beautification, residents are invited to dispose of hazardous materials such as paint, oil, prescription medication and electronics. Residents can also recycle or donate gently used clothing and other household items responsibly.

At the last Henderson Shines Community Cleanup, the City of Henderson collected: 

• 7,800 pounds of paper for recycling
• 8,100 pounds of paint, oil, and aerosols for safe disposal
• 5,100 pounds of batteries for proper disposal

Republic Services, Goodwill, Blind Center of NV, Opportunity Village and the Henderson Police Department will be onsite to assist residents.
