Henderson, Nev. – (March 11, 2024) The City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is resuming normal operations beginning Tuesday, March 12th, 2024.  Included in the dogs that are currently at the shelter, about 25% of the dogs that were quarantined will also be available for adoption. 

There are still around 60 dogs who are under quarantine for both exposure and positive tests. Testing is being completed weekly, and all involved are working extremely hard to care for and assist these dogs back to health. 

We encourage people to visit the shelter and adopt a forever friend.
