Henderson, Nev. - (March 11, 2024) On March 9th, 2024, at approximately 7:40 a.m. the City of Henderson Police and Fire Department responded to the 100 block of Cielo Abierto Way in reference to a welfare check.

Officers arrived on scene to discover a 52-year-old female and a 52-year-old male deceased at the scene.  

Henderson Detectives preliminary investigation revealed the incident to likely be the result of a Murder-Suicide.

The name of the decedents will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin. 

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

This is being investigated as the second homicide for the City of Henderson for 2024.
