Henderson to Host 18th Annual Bark in the Park Event at Cornerstone Park

WHAT: Get ready for a paws-itively fun time at the 18th annual Bark in the Park event on Saturday, March 2 at Cornerstone Park. 

Bark in the Park features four free pet-friendly hours of fun and events for dogs and their human friends including:

• HPD K-9 demonstrations 
• Interactive games 
• Dog hydration and splash-and-play area
• Photo opportunities
• Vendor market

This year's event will feature three 30-minute performances by the Canine Stars, a rescue dog stunt group. The group features a world-class team of dog trainers and their adopted dogs and they have been featured on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, Nickelodeon Unleashed and American Ninja Warrior. 

Complimentary shuttle service and parking will be available at RC Willey (20 N. Stephanie St.) on the day of event. Shuttles will run 9:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. for pets and people. 

The City encourages attendees to follow the below tips to help maintain the health and wellbeing of our furry friends:

• Keep pets on a leash
• Ensure pets are fully vaccinated
• Minimize socialization with unfamiliar dogs
• Bring water for their own dogs to limit communal drinking
• If pets are showing symptoms of illness, please do not attend
