WHAT:

The Henderson Police Department is partnering with the Vegas Knight Hawks, The Dollar Loan Center and HopeLink of Southern Nevada to host a Back-To-School Bash on Thursday, July 27, to help prepare local students for a successful school year.
 
The Back-To-School Bash will include a backpack and school supply giveaway while supplies last, public safety demonstrations, back-to-school safety information, as well as a chance to hear about community resources and information from Henderson Police officers. Students can also receive a free haircut and eye exam from local providers.
 
The Henderson Police Department is also extending its school supply drive deadline to Monday, July 24. HPD invites community members to drop off the following school supplies at any Henderson Police Substation, Henderson City Hall, Craggy Range Bar and Grill, City National Arena or America First Center in Henderson (formerly known as Lifeguard Arena):

• Pens
• Markers
• Paper
• Pencil cases
• Notebooks
• Pencils • Crayons
• Folders 
• Erasers
• Rulers
• Pencil sharpeners
