Henderson, Nev. – (June 26, 2024) The Henderson Police Department concluded its 9th campaign under the current Joining Forces Program. 

During the enforcement initiative that ran from June 5th through June 21st, 2024, Henderson Police stopped a total of 1085 motorists.

Of the 1085 traffic stops, motorists were issued 877 speeding citations, 22 distracted driving violations, 15 red light violations, and 140 citations issued for other traffic related offenses. 

The Henderson Police Department received $196,000 in federal funding for the enhanced enforcement initiatives through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2024 Joining Forces program.
