    2024 Sustainability Report Card

The City of Henderson has been working hard on different initiatives, campaigns, and partnerships to reduce the impact of climate change, and we are seeing great progress in ensuring our City is sustainable for future generations.

Take a look at our 2024 Sustainability Report Card to see how we are doing our part in protecting our region's valuable and natural resources. We've been working hard on different initiatives, campaigns, and partnerships to reduce the impact of climate change, and we are seeing great progress in ensuring our City stays resilient for future generations.

Even as our City grows, we've managed to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and improve the quality of life for our residents. Our turf conversion projects alone have saved 13.8 million gallons of water every year since 2022. And we're continuing our commitment to water conservation through our newly launched H2One campaign, Henderson's Call to Conserve. We're also ensuring equitable mobility and park access by adding 113 miles of street bike lanes within our community and increasing the number of residents within a 10-minute walk to 75%.

We've achieved a lot, but we're not stopping here. We'll keep working to make sure Henderson remains healthy and thriving for years to come.
