The City of Henderson offers the following utility discount programs to qualifying customers:
The Disability Discount waives the monthly basic water and sewer service charge for customers who are permanently disabled.
To be eligible for the discount, you must be permanently disabled, your primary residence must be located in Henderson, Nevada, and you must be the primary account holder on the utility bill.
To request the Disability Discount, submit a request through Contact Henderson. Be sure to attach proof of permanent disability. For example, a copy of your Social Security Disability Benefit Verification Letter, PERS Disability Letter, or any other government agency disability letter. You may also fax your information to 702-267-5901, Attn: Disability Discount Program.
The City of Henderson will waive the monthly basic water and sewer service charge for residents enrolled in the Nevada Energy Assistance Program (EAP).
To qualify, a customer must be a resident of Henderson and must be the primary account holder on the utility bill. Program participants are required to re-qualify annually by submitting proof of EAP enrollment.
Qualification guidelines are determined by the State of Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services. Visit the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services website to see the complete details on the EAP program.

The Delayed Billing Program assists customers whose only source of income is received once a month. It allows the primary account holder an additional week (7 days) to pay a bill without assessing a late fee.
To request the Delayed Billing, submit a request through Contact Henderson. Be sure to attach proof of monthly payment. For example, a copy of your Social Security Benefit Verification Letter, PERS Benefit Letter, or any other government agency letter showing that you are receiving a monthly payment.
