Teen WORK (willing, optimistic, respectful, kind) is a junior leader program that trains teens to become future recreation leaders. Participants provide assistance to the summer Battle Born Kids program.
Responsible teens (ages 14 and 15) willing to make a commitment to one, two or all three summer sessions will be placed based on their skills, interests, availability and location preference. All assignments provide training, the opportunity to work with children and the chance to develop leadership skills.
Session I – June 1-25 (four weeks) - $200
Session II - June 28-July 9 (two weeks) - $100
Session III - July 12-Aug. 6 (four weeks) - $200
Applications must be completed and submitted by May 1.
