We’re ready to provide memorable summer camp experiences for children ages 3-18. Our camps feature engaging activities, an upbeat atmosphere, and convenient hours and locations.

Registration begins April 5. 

Battle Born Kids & Teens

Battle Born is the City of Henderson’s sensational day camp program for ages 5-14. The programs incorporate daily activities that may include games, crafts, sports, swimming, field trips, and movies. Programs are fully supervised, offering children a full day of recreational fun while parents enjoy some peace of mind. Learn more

Campfire Kids

This state-licensed camp is specially designed for 3-5-year-olds to participate in a variety of supervised activities. Each day is a new adventure involving arts and crafts, interactive games, special events, music, and story time. Learn more

Page to Stage

All performance levels are welcome! This two-week camp brings out the best in every performer, no matter where you are in your arts journey. Have you ever wanted to star in your own movie scene, comedy skit, scene from a musical or music video? Do you want to get better at auditioning or be more confident performing in front of people? Work alongside industry professionals from Broadway, television, and movies as we help you create and design performance vignettes starring you. Gain confidence and comfortability while performing onstage through our audition and performance prep classes. Whether you love to act, sing and/or dance, this camp lets you explore all sides of your creativity while learning from the best in the business. Each camp ends with a free onstage performance showcase for friends and family at the Water Street Plaza. For more information, call 702-267-5850. Tiny Tots Adventurers
This camp is designed for children 3–5-year-olds to participate in a variety of adventures. Activities may include arts and crafts, physical activities, interactive games, movie and story time. Each camp theme will be provided to the parent/guardian prior to the start of camp.
Participants must be at least 3 years old on or before the week for which they are registering. This program will run 9:00am-3:00pm with early arrival and extended stay options available. Use the activity codes below to place your deposit and hold your child’s space in that week’s program. The balance for each week is due on the Wednesday prior to the week the child will be attending. After your deposit is made, the balance is due on or before the Wednesday prior to each week the child is scheduled to participate. Payments can be made online until 11:59 p.m. or at any recreation center/indoor pool during regular business hours. Unpaid balances will result in loss of the deposit.

  • Drop-in days available, pending space for $18 per child per day
Early Arrival is 7:00-9:00 a.m. and is $7 per child per day.
Extended Stay is 3:00-6:00 p.m. and is $10.50 per child per day.
Children must be from the same immediate family to receive the sibling discount. We reserve the right to request supporting documentation.

Junior Naturalist Day Camp
This week-long day camp is full of nature, friendship and fun. Each week has a different theme and will incorporate games, crafts, and enjoy hands-on activities all while learning about nature. Each week will feature different activities. Ages 6-10

Backwoods Explorers

Walk, explore, and learn the practice of “leave no trace” while taking a journey into the lives of Native Americans and early pioneers.

NEW! Archery Camp

Our archery camp is designed to help kids gain knowledge and experience in the sport of archery. Every camper will get the experience to be the next Robin Hood. Participants will enjoy learning basic skills and having fun putting them to practice with themed specialty shoots. All archery equipment is provided.

Scales & Slime

We will explore and meet the reptiles that call the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve their natural home.

Camp H2GO

In this half-day youth aquatic camp, participants will experience a variety of supervised interactive activities. Daily activities may include water safety, youth lifeguarding, stroke development, water polo, and synchronized swimming. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted, easily tread water, and be comfortable in deep water. Proper swim attire, a change of clothes, sunscreen and a towel are required. Participants must be registered for Battle Born Kids to sign up for this add-on. Ages 8-11

Jr. Lifeguards

Participants will experience a variety of daily activities that will include water safety, youth lifeguarding, personal development, stroke development, and water sports. Participants will also be introduced to difference aquatic programs including water polo and synchronized swimming. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted, easily tread water, and be comfortable in deep water. Proper swim attire, change of clothes, sunscreen and a towel are required. Participants should bring a lunch, water bottle, and plenty of snacks each day. Thirty-minute early arrival and extended stay options are available for an additional $10 per child per week (must be registered on or by the Wednesday prior to attending). At closing, a late pickup fee of $10 per 10 minutes is applied. Early registration is recommended as spaces fill quickly. Ages 10-13

Downtown Hoops Academy
This camp focus on the skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and rebounding while providing the footwork fundamentals necessary to learn and thrive in the game of basketball. High energy, conditioning and teamwork will highlight the week. Ages 8-13
