Sponsoring a City of Henderson event is a great way to make your business or organization visible to event participants while showing your support for our events and services. It all starts with our Sponsor packet.
This is the annual kickoff softball tournament (formerly Jason Pasco / Leslie Leveque / Miken Sports Classic) for the Henderson area for which teams travel from around the region to participate. The tournament features men’s, women’s and co-rec divisions of play, with awards presented in each division. Games are played at the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex and Russell Road Recreation Complex.

The fifth annual Heartbreak Pickleball Classic features round-robin play with divisions based on skill and age to give all opponents a chance to participate in competitive matches. USAPA rules apply, but this is a non-sanctioned recreational tournament. Play begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs until early afternoon, dependent upon registration.
The tournament is held at the Black Mountain Recreation Center pickleball courts.

2020 Tournament Results
Held in recognition of the City of Henderson’s anniversary of incorporation, this slow-pitch softball tournament offers men’s and co-rec divisions of play. This two-pitch format is the perfect warmup for teams preparing for the popular Midnite Madness (to be held in July). Bats are provided. First, second and third place award packages are presented. Games are played at Arroyo Grande Sports Complex and Russell Road Recreation Complex.

This is the most anticipated and unique tournament in the Las Vegas Valley. It’s a 1-pitch, all-night tournament where players pitch to their own teams. Hit or miss, fair or foul, there are no second chances. Play features 30-minute nighttime games, and bats are provided. The Saturday evening home run contest winner receives a brand new bat. First through fourth place team finishers share in a $6,000+ awards package. The men's division plays Friday evening while the co-rec division plays Saturday evening. Games start at dusk and last until they’re done. Don’t miss your chance to join the best teams from throughout the region for this event. Games are played at Arroyo Grande Sports and Russell Road Recreation complexes.

Beat the heat and play in our third annual Summer Indoor Pickleball Classic. Games are played indoors at the Downtown Recreation Center gymnasium. Whether a beginner or a seasoned pro, this tournament offers a variety of skill levels and competition that is sure to be a smashing good time. Space is very limited. All events are round robin format with doubles play. USAPA rules apply. This non-sanctioned tournament is played 9am to mid-afternoon each day.

The Downtown Volleyball Challenge is cancelled.
Bump, set and spike your way to the championship in the fourth annual Downtown Volleyball Challenge. This high-energy 6 v. 6 co-rec volleyball tournament is played on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon at Whitney Ranch Recreation Center. Registration is per team and must be made at the Sports office. Teams are scheduled a minimum of three games. Teams must include at least two females on the court at all times. Spots are limited.
