Henderson, Nev. – (April 13, 2022) On April 13, 2022, at approximately 9:13 a.m., the City of Henderson Police Department responded to the 100 block of Sicily Hills Court in reference to a shooting incident that had just occurred.

Arriving responders located a 10-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.  It was determined the victim had no signs of life and pronounced deceased at the scene.  

Preliminarily, Detectives determined the victim’s 14-year-old brother shot the victim.

The 14-year-old was taken into custody and booked into Clark County Juvenile Hall (CCJH) on the following charge:

One count of Involuntary Manslaughter

There is no booking photo, as the offender is a juvenile.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

The identity of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications

This is being investigated as the second homicide for the City of Henderson for 2022.
