Henderson, Nev. – (March 15, 2022) The Henderson Police Department concluded its 8th campaign under the current Joining Forces Program. 
During the enforcement initiative that ran from February 25th through March 12th, 2022, Henderson Police stopped a total of 519 motorists.

Of the 519 traffic stops, motorists were issued 382 speeding citations, 7 citations for distracted driving (such as cell phone use), and several other citations issued for other traffic related offenses. Additionally, 50 motorists were issued a warning, in lieu of a citation.

Henderson Police Department received $237,300 in federal funding for the enhanced enforcement initiatives through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2022 Joining Forces program.
