Henderson, Nev. – On July 11, 2021, at approximately 5:45 A.M., the City of Henderson Police and Fire responded to the intersection of Windmill Parkway and North Green Valley Parkway in reference to a collision involving a single vehicle.

Preliminary investigation revealed a black 2016 Jeep Wrangler was traveling eastbound on Windmill Parkway approaching the intersection at North Green Valley Parkway.

The driver of the Jeep lost control of his vehicle and veered left into the center median, colliding with a light pole and landscaping. Impairment and speed are considered factors in this incident.

The driver of the Jeep was pronounced deceased on scene.

The name of the decedent will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications.

The crash is being investigated as the fifth accident-related fatality for 2021.
